Meet the Team
Simon Wickens
Simon started out as a tree surgeon and graduated to landscape gardening – with a special interest in trees. As a qualified arboriculturist, Simon is especially able to advise on any aspect of tree maintenance and care. On top of this, Simon is able to carry out fencing and building work and has a wide range of experience in general gardening and plants.
Henry Bond
Henry graduated from Plumpton College with a distinction in horticulture. His landscaping expertise and his extensive knowledge of plants allow him to always do what’s best for your garden, and he has the knowledge to advise on how to fulfill your garden’s potential – whatever its size and style. Henry is also a skilled carpenter and is available for the installation of fencing, decking, and most other woodwork.
Rosie Paddington
Rosie acts as general manager of Sunrise Gardens and Nurseries, and will most often be your first point of contact when enquiring about using our services. Rosie has many years of experience in horticulture and gardening, beginning with her school botany lessons. Most of her time is used organising the team for their various jobs, but likes to escape outdoors and bury herself in the upkeep of the nursery.
Vanessa Humm
Vanessa helps us in the care and maintenance of our nursery plants, and assisting on site where required. She is also in charge of social media, plant sales and maintaining contact with customers.
